Contractor, Sub-contractor Qualification Requirements

Every potential contractor and sub-contractor must be at least 23 years of age with at least 2 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience and shall be interviewed by the DOT / Safety Administrator before the applicant will be cleared.

The following items are reasons why a contractor or sub-contractor will be denied.

1. Misdemeanor Drug or Alcohol driving conviction in past 7 years
2. Misdemeanor Drug conviction in past 7 years
3. Three (3) or more moving violations in three years
4. Felony Conviction
5. Failing DOT Physical
6. Failing pre-employment drug test
7. Falsifying Application
8. Excessive job-hopping
9. Chargeable accident in past three years
10. Unable to pass a pre-trip inspection and driving test
